On September 19th we closed out our 7th season here at Checkered Flag. The day was full of great racing as the old
track came in real nice once again. We are getting close to figuring out what we need to do to get it where we want it.
Thank you to all that helped out. We had a lot of great racing and more importantly everyone was having FUN. Congrats
to all the winners.
We also crowned our Season Champions for 2010 and we congratulate all of them. We would like to thank all of our
sponsors and hope you support them whenever possible. During our club meeting we saw some changes as Shawn
Palmer has offered to head the rules committee and we thank him for that. We’re sure he will be contacting all the club
members soon with some items to be voted on.
During the off season the work doesn’t stop. We have some changes in mind for the facility and hopefully we can pull
them off.
As we wrap this up we want to thank all of you that have supported the track and club over the years. We’re not going to
name anyone because we know we’ll forget someone. So if you have helped out in any way or raced here we thank you.
us great joy to see everyone having Fun. We encourage everyone to support all of the tracks in the area so we can keep
our hobby strong. Just remember to have FUN. If everyone gets 1 new racer into our hobby, it will go on forever. Once
again we thank you for your support and we hope to see you at our Halloween Havoc Race on October 10th and next
year for our 2011 season.
