1: The Kansas Dirt Slingers mentioned in these Rules and By-Laws shall be referred to as KDS.
2: The club offices consist of President, Two Vice Presidents, Treasurer and Secretary.
3: The president shall chair all club meetings.
4: The KDS officers will provide order at all club functions, oversee all club events, and be the third and deciding factor in
any disputes.
5: The 2 Vice Presidents shall act as President in the absence of the President.
6: The Treasurer will be in charge of the cash box and it will be maintained at $50.00 for change and petty cash uses.
7: The Treasurer and Secretary will tally all race fees collected at each race event.
8: The Treasurer will provide a financial statement of the clubs funds at each meeting.
9: The Secretary will record and provide minutes of all club meetings.
10: All members will have a voice and can vote on issues by attending club meetings.
11: Non members are invited to all meetings but will not be allowed to vote.
12: The number of members that can make a valid vote will be no less than five paid members.
13: The club officers will develop a yearly budget plan for the Kansas Dirt Slingers R/C Club. This plan will include yearly
estimates for revenues received and yearly expenses broken down into the following categories.
(1) Memberships sold
(2) Race fees collected for club races.
(3) Race fees collected for special event races.
(4) Computer supplies
(5) Driver Stand repairs.
(6) Trophy expenses
(7) T Shirt expenses
(8) Fencing materials
(9) Other miscellaneous items
The budget will be presented at each meeting and voted on by club members. If accepted the budget will be in place for the
current season. If not accepted the KDS officers will make the necessary changes and represent the proposed budget to
the club members for re-vote at the next meeting.
